SKD Solutions in Africa Gaining Momentum

Despite the ongoing struggles to public health, the economy and global supply chains, Volkswagen made their first big delivery of the VW Passat in Rwanda earlier this month. The vehicles were delivered to the Rwandan government to be used by the Traffic Police in the country.

All vehicles were transported in SKD state from South Africa on Kar-Tainer SKD cassettes for assembly in Rwanda before being handed over to end customer. See the new owners take posession of the vehicles in video below.
