More JLR SKD bodies arrive in Brazil

The next 16 bodies of the Jaguar Land Rover SKD project have arrived safely at their Brazilian destination just outside of Rio de Janeiro. These bodies were unloaded and ready for assembly with another 300 bodies now already on route. As the new plant comes on stream shipments in excess of 120 bodies are expected to leave the JLR Halewood plant on a weekly basis. Currently approximately 100 newly manufactured cassettes at KTI’s base in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, are being transported weekly to Halewood to maintain the required pool of equipment for this contract.
